  • Mind-boggling Lady Beckham

    THE awarding of knighthoods and other honours to sports people and so-called celebrities has been happening for decades under all governments and prime ministers. I have no problem with the principal of the system, only with its abuse, which has also been endemic for decades under all governments and prime ministers. My only problem with the idea of a knighthood for David Beckham is the thought that his stick insect wife will thereby become Lady Beckham. The mind boggles! read more
