Letters

  • Cheating our services

DAVID Caunt, Andrew Sparke, leaders of the council - both of you haven't got the guts to come out with honest simple answers as to where this money has come from to build this state of the art civic centre. read more

  • Please make it resounding ‘no’

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with J Fisher, Dudley, after Malcolm Davis stood with the people of Dudley, all 23,000 of us who complained about it being built and I for one still say Dudley is the wrong place to put up a mosque. read more

  • Elderly people do know better!

DUDLEY and the surrounding area started to turn into what it is now after the Second World War when the then council destroyed places like Primrose Hill and similar places (where there were good solid communities) bit by bit with change, I regret not for the better. If we go back far enough in history we will find that many of our descendants were slaves, but it is not our desire to make people slaves today. read more

  • Global families

I HAD intended to put down my pen regarding Dudley community relations. read more

  • Feeling sorry for cat owners, but...

I FEEL sorry for the lady in Pensnett whose cats have been shot and don't agree with such cruelty. read more

  • The police don’t care

ON Wednesday June 6 the druggies and dealers beat up a person and stole his mobile phone by the bus shelter on the Stourbridge Road, by Queens Cross Cemetery. read more

  • St John’s Church should be used

AFTER reading the report today about St John's church at Kates Hill being used for a mosque, I would tend to agree with this thought, and it may be in agreement with the thousands of Dudley residents that were against the large mosque in Hall Street. read more

  • Council lead by example?

WHILE visiting Dudley recently I couldn't help noticing how rubbish-strewn the town seems. read more

  • Amused by £38 a week for refugees

MY wife and I have just been reading an article by Rachel Hickman. read more
