Perfect Parker shines for leaders

Division One league leaders Jim's Gym again claimed maximum points with an 8-2 win over third placed Bromley A.

Star of the show was Kingsley Parker who scored a treble as well as two wins each from John Stafford and Shaun Rochelle, plus doubles success.

Dave Whittingslow won two for Bromley A.

Second- placed Woodsetton Steels also took maximum points with a 9-1 win at home to Thimblemill C, with Gary Webster and Kevin Flavell going through unbeaten.

Dudley Leisure A had no mercy on their C team, trebles from Ken George and Jason Gorman, plus two from Maurice Woolley seeing them to an easy 9-1 win. Thimblemill A strolled to a 7-3 win over their B team, Tim Walters unbeaten, aided by two wins from Paul Dicken.

Bromley B scraped home 6-4 to Dudley Leisure B, three wins from Thomas Savary, two from Ben Mumford plus the doubles secured the lion's share of the points. Glyn Mundon and Harry Bird had two wins for Dudley Leisure.

In Division Two top team Lees struggled to beat mid-table Bromley C, but three wins from Inderjit Dosanjh, two from Dean Crumpton, plus the doubles gained the victory. Dave Hutton got two wins for Bromley. Bromley D stay second, but also drop a point at home to Sandwell Unison, Colin Gower, Chris Dangerfield and Steph Jackson winning two each. Sid Parker was unbeaten for Sandwell Unison. At the bottom Bromley E shared a 5-5 draw with Bromley F thanks to three wins from Ashley Flavell. John Cheadle and Robert Morawski won two each for Bromley F. Thorns A are third following a 7-3 win at home to Dudley Leisure D. Paul Smith(Snr) was again unbeaten for Dudley Leisure, but Thorns trio of Sue Horton, Matt James and Paul Hughes proved too strong overall.
