Youngsters are being encouraged to jump on the saddle and show off their pedal power by Stourbridge Cycling Club.
The club will be running a series of six cycling sessions to be held at The Wordsley School.
They will begin on Monday June 9 at 7pm, and will continue every week at the same time until July 14. The sessions are free of charge and are open to riders between the ages of 12-16 years.
Each session will last one hour where riders will be able to develop their skills and techniques. Every week the riding will become progressively more challenging, moving onto small competitions and short off-road rides.
The sessions will be run by fully qualified level two coaches who have experience in many cycling disciplines and will be able to give much advice on all things bikes.
Riders showing a keen interest or ability will be invited along to club rides where they can further develop their fitness.
Stourbridge Cycling Club is a well established club which provides club activities for a wide range of cycling disciplines and is keen to encourage more young people into cycling.
For further details on how to take part in the cycling sessions please contact Kevin Payton on 01384 292046 or visit www.stourbridgecyclingclub.com
