Man rescued from fire in Netherton
A MAN has had to be rescued by fire crews from a severe in Netherton.
The blaze, at a three-storey block of flats in Upton Street broke out around 8.30pm last night (Wednesday March 26)
Crews from Cradley Heath, Dudley and Oldbury attended and had to rescue the man from the second floor flat.
One man and one girl were taken to Russells Hall Hospital to receive treatment for smoke inhalation.
A further three people were led to safety by crews.
The fire was extinguished using a hose reel jets and four fire fighters used breathing apparatus.
The fire is being investigated by the fire research investigation officer to determine the cause of the blaze.
