A 56-year-old Dudley man admitted money laundering when he appeared before a judge at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Robert Williams, of Leabank Road, Netherton, was remanded on bail until June 3 by Judge Michael Challinor for a pre-sentence report.
Williams, who had a yard in Pear Tree Lane, Dudley, admitted being concerned in a money laundering arrangement.
Diane Chilton 49, also of Leabank Road, had faced a similar charge but Jane Sarginson, for the prosecution, offered no evidence in her case.
The judge told Chilton she was free to leave the court after recording a verdict of not guilty against her.
THE leader of Dudley Council claims town residents have been given a “smack in the teeth” after a planning inspector granted permission for the £18 million mosque and community training and enterprise centre.
