More choice for homebuyers in Stourport
8:00am Thursday 27th December 2012
ANYONE looking for a new home in Stourport should head along Hamlet Place, where there’s now even more to choose from.
First time buyers, growing families and downsizers could all find their perfect property at the Redrow development in Bewdley Road.
There’s a good selection available ranging from two-bedroom starter homes to five-bedroom detached family homes.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “Initially we were only selling larger house types, mainly four and five-bedroom family homes, but now that we’ve increased the choice to offer something for almost every buyer and budget we’ve seen an increase in enquiries as people want to find out more about the properties.
"Visitors to the show homes love the fact that externally they look very traditional, while inside they’re bright and modern with features designed for ease of living.”
Current prices at Hamlet Place range from £139,995 for a two-bedroom Evesham style property up to £349,995 for a five-bedroom Hampstead.
Among the homes available is the four-bedroom Cambridge on the market and ready to move into from £279,995.
“One of the advantages of buying a brand new home is that you don’t have to wait for the previous owner to move out before you can move in. Another big plus is that everything’s brand new so you won’t be inheriting someone else’s decor,” Pauline added.
“With no DIY required you’ll be able to save time and money you may otherwise have spent on repairs and renovations. There’s also potential for savings on fuel bills as our new homes are designed to be energy efficient. In fact it’s around 55% cheaper to run a four-bedroom detached Redrow home than an ‘upgraded’ Victorian home.”
Double glazing and central heating are included as standard in the homes at Hamlet Place.
They also boast well equipped kitchens with integrated top brand name appliances including oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage space. Bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings, with a tile range exclusive to Redrow.
The homes are about a mile from the town centre with a wealth of amenities including supermarkets, high street stores and independent shops. Plus, with easy access to the M5, M42 and M40 they make a great base for commuters.
The Hamlet Place show home, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
