WAGGING tails will greet shoppers at Webbs, the UK Garden Centre of the Year, at Wychbold, near Droitwich, tomorrow.
Former racing greyhounds will be using all their charm to persuade shoppers that they make the perfect pet.
The dogs will be part of a Greyhound Awareness Roadshow staged by the Greyhound Rescue West of England charity. The roadshow is a bid by volunteers to show people that the dogs are loving and affectionate and make ideal family pets. There will be information about adopting or sponsoring a greyhound.
Organisers are hoping the roadshow will be as successful as a visit to Webbs last year where homes were found for dogs with garden centre customers.
Helen Mills of Greyhound Rescue said: "Greyhounds are the most lovable creatures. Visitors to Webbs will find the dogs happy to greet people. We hope our roadshow might inspire locals to consider taking a greyhound on as a pet."
