FANS of guitar legends are in for a treat when a host of six-string masters roll into Birmingham.

On Thursday June 25 the Symphony Hall is playing host to rocker Jeff Beck while on the same day blues hero BB King will be at the NIA.

Beck found fame in 1965 when he joined The Yardbirds, he continues to be an iconic writer and performer despite several failed attempts at retirement to indulge his passion for building fast cars.

Meanwhile BB King and British bluesman John Mayall are teaming up for shows which are being described as a “one of the most spectacular Rhythm ’n’ Blues concert tours ever to hit the UK”.
