Oxzide set for big Dudley gig

BLACK Country rockers Oxzide are getting ready for a big gig in Dudley to promote their new album.

The four-piece heavy metal band are planning to release their second CD, called The Devil’s Little Sister, later this year and are set to headline JB’s club, Castle Hill, on Saturday June 19.

The gig, which is being branded ‘Oxzidation’, promises to deliver the band’s trademark spectacular stage show which is helping establish Oxzide as a force to be reckoned with in venues around the UK.

Oxzide singer, Beth, said: “We are fast becoming very well known for our stage shows which are full of energy and also include pyrotechnics and lasers.

“We're working harder then ever to make this one visually stunning and we aim to put on a performance that will keep everyone talking for months after.”

The new release follows Oxzide’s 2008 debut album, Really Not Insane, which one critic described as “close to musical genius”.
