THE spotlight will be turned on talented thespians as young as two, giving them their chance to shine in a variety show in Dudley later this month.

Slik! Productions will be showcasing the work of members over the last 12 months in the show featuring dance, song and drama by members of the company's theatre school and performance section.

Director Jane McWilliams, drama teacher and vocal coach, said the variety show at Castle High School will be the first public performance for some of the youngsters.

The Saturday theatre school takes children from two and also has an adult section while the performance company has members aged from nine to 65.

They rehearse at the Scout Hut in Dudley Road, where the performance section meet on Tuesday evenings and perform at a variety of venues including charity events, festivals and old people's homes.

The show will take place on Friday and Saturday March 28 and 29 at 7.15pm. Tickets, priced £8, will be available on the door or in advance by ringing Jane on 01384 238121.
