BUDDING Dudley singers have the chance to perform alongside a 1980s singing star in a community choir.
Birmingham-born Maggie Moone, a singer on 80s show Name That Tune', has teamed up with Midlands entrepreneur Matthew Jones in the search for a special choir to take part in a fundraising album.
All proceeds from album sales will go to Cancer Research UK.
Rehearsals for the choir start at a venue, to be confirmed, on Wednesday March 5 ahead of recording sessions held at Ingestre Hall, Staffordshire between May 23 and 25.
Matthew, aged 22, has previously formed community choirs which toured on The Carpenters- A Celebration' show, which was performed at Dudley Concert Hall.
