A 27-year-old Hales-owen singer/ songwriter has made it to the regional finals of a competition designed to find talented artists who haven't signed record deals.
Vicki-Ann Nash hopes to make it through to the next stage - the national final of Live and Unsigned 2008 in London - and go on to win a recording contract and an investment of £20,000 to release a single.
Vicki, who has the stage name Vianne, will perform in the regional final at Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton, on Sunday April 13.

The mum of one, who is also a sound engineer, sings blues, soul and jazz.
More than 10,000 people applied to take part in the competition.
