A STOURBRIDGE venue is getting set to broadcast live recordings on its internet radio show for the first time.

Katie Fitzgerald's has been bringing a mixture of established artists and unsigned talent to the region for nearly eight years and has become a popular venue for live music.

It is now taking things a stage further by replacing extracts from gigs on its online show KFFM.

The internet show has been on the air since November, playing tracks by up-and-coming performers plus interviews with artists playing at the venue.

The new monthly KFFM Live Nights will add an extra dimension as live performances are added to the show's playlist.

The first KFFM Live night, featuring Stourbridge artists Augustine and The Voluntary Butler Project (pictured), is set for Monday, March 31 in the Cellar Bar at the Enville Street venue.

During KFFM Live nights, bands will be recorded for broadcast in later shows and any artist taking part will receive their own copy of the recording.

Further shows are planned for every last Monday in the month, entry to KFFM Live costs £2.
