A STOURBRIDGE rock venue is set to play host to an underground band who are returning to their roots.
Power rockers Weak13 began their career in 1999 with a gig at a pub in Kidderminster and, after being told they were too loud to play there again, moved on to the Rock Cafe 2000.
Nine years later, the Mill Race Lane club is staging the return of the band to celebrate milestones in their rise to recognition.

Weak13 have recently signed a publishing deal with UK Newsound Ltd and are releasing their debut four-track EP, Death Machine', on Monday May 5, which will be available worldwide on iTunes.
The group are marking the release, plus their 650th gig, with a return to the Rock Cafe tomorrow (Thursday April 24) with support from new bands Malevolent Aspect and Hope Dies Tomorrow.
Weak13 guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, Nick J Townsend, said: "It's always been a great venue, I've seen it grow over the years, I'm proud to be playing there again because it's our duty to pay respect where it's due, they gave us a chance and we showed them we could blow people away with our music."
The band also have an album, The Very Worst of Weak 13 - Volume 1', available for free download at www.mp3.com/weak13
