American legend Willie Nelson is set for a show in Wolverhampton

LEGENDARY musician Willie Nelson has been winning awards and selling records by the millions for decades.

Although known to most as a country singer Nelson has covered reggae, rock and gospel tunes, performed with punkettes L7 and symphony orchestras.

His easy style and down-to-earth attitude have made him a working class hero to many in his USA homeland.

Country star Emmylou Harris, who has worked with Nelson many times, said, "If America has a voice it is Willie Nelson's."
