GMTV presenter Fiona Phillips is celebrating 10 years as queen of the breakfast show sofa.

January will mark a decade since she started the job.

And to herald the occasion she modelled a £60,000 diamond tiara from jewellery house Garrard & Co with her stripy pyjamas.

"I can't believe I've clocked up 10 years of 4am starts - although when I look in the mirror it's perfectly obvious!" said Phillips.

"I originally intended to stay for two years. Each day is so different and enjoyable that it's whizzed by."

Phillips, 45, joined the station as showbiz correspondent in 1993.

After two years in the US as LA reporter she moved back to Britain before landing the top job.

For nearly nine years she shared the sofa with Eamonn Holmes.

He quit in April last year and Phillips now co-hosts the show with Andrew Castle.

January will be a double celebration for the presenter - she celebrates her 46th birthday on New Year's Day.
