STOURBRIDGE blues and roots star Ian Parker has been making waves across pond after taking part in the 2nd International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
The 31-year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire, who is already considered one of the UK's hottest young blues artists, seems to have earned himself a whole bunch of new supporters in the USA since taking to the stage with his equally talented bandmate - keyboard player Morg Morgan - in the mammoth event featuring blues artists from across the world.
While he was out in the States - Ian was also interviewed on News Channel 3's Live at 9 breakfast TV show.
Back in the UK this week and busy gigging across the country throughout the month, Ian and his band will be returning to their spiritual home' - the Robin 2 at Bilston on Friday February 29.
And the show is set to be recorded for Ian's latest live album.
