SELF proclaimed saviours of Stourbridge music Chevron are Black Country boys who tell it like it is.
The three-piece, who avoid battle of the bands competitions because they believe music should be about coming together rather than battling each other, are preparing for a big night at the newly reopened Mitre in Stourbridge.
With influences ranging from Black Sabbath to Dee Lite, Chevron have attracted attention from around the UK with summer shows lined up in London, Bristol and Leeds, and are regulars in the West Midlands scene.
Band members Michael A Hunter, Luke Turner and Adam Eggy' Egginton formerly played with groups including The Wetdog Project and Jimmy The Fool before forming Chevron and signing to Worcester based label MAS Records.
Chevron will be on stage at The Mitre, Lower High Street, on Saturday April 26, they will also be supporting Supanaught at The Black Horse Rock Bar, Birmingham, on Thursday May 22.
