Pubs and Restaurants
Over-21s at Hare & Hounds
Over the years the Hare & Hounds pub on the Hagley Road, Hasbury has been a regular fixture on many a night out for Halesowen residents - and has undergone more than a few changes itself
Caring new owners are now poised to re-open the pub this week with the intention of transforming it into a friendly, well-run venue that once again will offer locals a safe and much-loved place for meeting, eating and drinking. Key amongst the new features being introduced is the new over 21s only' policy that will also ensure the pub is a child-free haven!
Relax, listen to the music, have a game of darts and enjoy the wide selection of bar snacks that are currently available. Choose from jacket potatoes, soup, cobs and sandwiches - even curries and chilli - you really can't beat their homemade cooking!
Ambiance and atmosphere are everything and there'll be plenty of both as managers Amy and Aidan plan to put the Hare & Hounds back on the map. Watch out for details over the next few months as they launch a great combination of entertainment and delicious, top-quality homemade food.
"We're really looking forward to putting our roots down here and showing everyone what a vibrant and happy venue the Hare & Hounds is. It's an exciting time for us and we hope lots of people will come and see us as we gradually introduce our full range of services," said Amy.
In the meantime, put Friday 23rd November in your diary and join in the fun on opening night, where from 7pm you can kick-start your weekend with free live entertainment - a performance by a top Frank Sinatra tribute band.
Free snacks will be available as well as a variety of enticing special promotions on drinks. For one night only you can also enjoy a free game of pool, so challenge your friends and make a night of it. Christmas and New Year's Eve also promise to be fun with popular karaoke discos - ask for details.
If you're looking for a venue for a special occasion or perhaps a Christmas or birthday party, the Hare & Hounds could be just what you needand they promise to make your visit a memorable one.
Amy and Aidan are looking for motivated staff to fill a variety of roles - pop in or ring for further information.
