Tuck into a roast – at a great price
To treat your family to a delicious roast dinner that is excellent value for money, visit The Ashley in Blackheath, Rowley Regis.
The carvery at the pub opened a year ago and has proved to be a big hit with customers.
Three choices of meat are available every day plus a selection of six fresh vegetables and boiled and roast potatoes, for just £4.95 on weekdays and £5.95 at weekends.
A two-course lunchtime special, including a main course and dessert, is available Monday-Friday for £4.20 and there is also a children's menu.
The carvery can seat up to 56 people and is open Monday to Friday from noon to 2.30pm and 6pm-8.30pm, Saturday from noon-2pm, with bookings only in the evening, and Sunday from noon-6pm.
Parties, birthdays, funerals and weddings can all be catered for at The Ashley. Just call to book.
The pub is more than 100 years old and licensees Barbara Woodin and Raymond Bowater have created a relaxed and warm atmosphere inside.
"It's a great place for all the family to eat," Barbara said.
Outside, there is play equipment to keep children entertained, an attractive beer garden and a new decking area with tables and chairs.
Smokers visiting the pub need not worry about having to stand outside in the cold as the outdoor space includes the Cottage Suite, a smoking shelter with a coffee table and colour television inside.
The Ashley, located at 393 Long Lane, is taking bookings for its Christmas Fayre menu until January 2. Four courses cost £12.50 for adults and £5.50 for children and there are still a few tables left.
