MUSICIAN Arthur Brown is a high-octane entertainer with a reputation for a highly combustible live show.

His single Fire topped the charts in 1968 and became an anthem for his trade mark off beat public persona under the name – The Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

His live shows are almost guaranteed to deliver the unexpected; it is not unheard of for Arthur Brown to strip naked on stage or accidentally set fire to his head.

His album Zim Zam Zim was released in 2013 following a successful pledge campaign where fans pre-order albums before they are recorded.

More than four decades since he became a worldwide star, the self-styled God Of Hellfire is back on the road with more madness in mind demonstrating a helmet he says will enable him to use his thoughts to control music.

The Crazy World of Arthur Brown will be playing live at The Robin 2, Bilston, on Thursday April 17.

Support at the gig will be from The Roz Bruce Infusion and Lifecycle.
