ANDRE Rieu’s spectacular 2016 Maastricht Concert will be screened via satellite from southern Netherlands at Showcase Dudley.
Known as the “King of Waltz”, the popular Dutch violinist will perform alongside his famous 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, sopranos, and tenors with appearances from special guests.
The eagerly anticipated concert, which will be beamed to the Dudley cinema on Saturday, July 23, and Sunday, July 24, is set to deliver a “memorable music experience” that will entertain guests of all ages, while promising to “transport you all the way to Maastricht”.
James Dobbin, director of event cinema at Showcase Cinemas, said: “André’s show was extremely popular last year, setting a new Event Cinema record in UK box office history.
“That’s no surprise, as André is a performer who adds something special to every one of his shows, keeping guests entertained year on year.
“We’re excited to be offering our customers the opportunity to catch one of the most popular concerts of the year on our state-of-the-art screens at Showcase Cinemas.”
