GETTNG the Black Country jamming for Oxfam, the charity's month-long music festival will be coming to Cradley Heath.

Music lovers around the country have volunteered their time to set up gigs and events to raise money for Oxfam's Oxjam, and the next one for those local to Cradley Heath will be at The Hollybush, in Newtown Lane, on Saturday, November 5.

Guitarist Stephen Bridgewater said he decided to take part in the musical fundraising event because he was passionate about his local music scene as well as helping to fight poverty around the world.

Rockers WEAK13, fronted by Stourbridge's Nick J Townsend, will be taking to the stage to headline the event, sharing it with alternative covers band Alternator, synth band Lycio, and DJ Dirty, as well as many more.

Tickets for Oxjam Black Country Live Music Festival at The Hollybush cost £4 for adults, with children going free with an adult, and can be purchased by donating to Oxjam at the Oxjam Black Country Facebook page.

All proceeds will go to Oxfam.
