A CHARITY concert to raise funds to help a Rowley Regis boy walk again will be held in Quarry Bank on Friday (August 25).

A number of acts will be appearing at Quarry Bank Social Club, on High Street, in aid of the James’ Dream appeal.

Wheelchair-bound Bromsgrove DJ Ben Kelly is hosting the showcase and raffle for the appeal, which is in support of seven-year-old James Downing, from Rowley Regis.

James has a condition Cerebral Palsy Spastic Diplegia, which means the muscles in this legs are too tight, making it hard for him to put his feet flat on the floor to allow him to walk.

Performers appearing on the night are Chris Farr, Amy Powell, Alexandra Darby, Robert Bonovox, Russell Peak and Paul Clark.

The show will take place between 7pm and 11pm and tickets, priced £3 are available on the door. For more information, contact Ben Kelly on 07584 070865.
