JAZZ fans can get their feet tapping as the traditional Sunday night sessions return to Halesowen next weekend with the performance from New Orleans Bump.

Now led by reed player and musical arranger Dave Wood, New Orleans Bump will provide a different type of fireworks when they play Halesowen Cricket Club on Sunday, November 5.

The band, which plays a very refreshing style of happy, foot tapping jazz with great emphasis on entertaining their audience, has evolved from the New Georgia Jazz Band, following former leader's Dave Smith relocation to South Wales.

Trevor Jones, jazz club organiser, said: “It will of course be their first visit to the club in this format, and we hope for a bumper audience to welcome them.”

The evening runs from 8pm until 10.30pm and admission on the door costs £5.
