Pamela Anderson has been tipped as an early favourite to win Dancing On Ice 2013 after wowing in early rehearsals.

Celebrity contestants have been snapped getting their skates on ready for the launch of the ITV show on Sunday January 6, and the former Baywatch star was shown gliding elegantly around the rink with professional partner Matt Evers.

Pammie, 45, has already proved she can move after competing in US dance show Dancing With The Stars twice, and having grown up in Canada, she may have skated as a child.

Meanwhile, the other celebs appeared to be doing their best Bambi impressions, as they slipped and stumbled on the ice.

Coronation Street actress Samia Ghadie was pictured laughing as she fell over, and may have already injured her right hand, as it was bandaged up.

The soap star, who is partnered with Sylvain Longchambon, said recently of her training: "I didn't fall over for four weeks and then I had a big one!"

The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger and TV presenter Anthea Turner were both snapped looking unsteady, clinging onto professionals Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill for support.

Comedian Joe Pasquale was also pictured falling over, and Keith Chegwin was seen laughing as he tried to help Anthea up.

But Pammie wasn't the only one to impress. Former rugby player Gareth Thomas and EastEnder Matt Lapinskas both looked confident, while Olympian gymnast Beth Tweddle showed off, doing the splits.
