Apprentice winners: Stella English, Tim Campbell and more - where are they now?

Once again Lord Sugar is back with his trusty advisors – Baroness Brady and new panel member, Claude Littner.

But what has happened to those who’ve heard those two magical words, ‘You’re Hired’, from Lord Sugar?

We take a look at where the past winners are now.

1. Mark Wright- series 10

Not him of TOWIE fame, but rather the one who clinched the first prize with his SEO business idea. In a recent interview with LondonLovesBusiness, he revealed his business has “turned over a million in a year”. He also spoke about working for Lord Sugar, saying: “He’s really hands-on, I speak to him at least once a week and for a full day once a month. When we first started he was on my case every day, but now we’re off and sailing really well he sort of leaves me to steer the ship a bit more.”

2. Dr Leah Totton – series 9

The blonde doctor and qualified cosmetic surgeon opened Dr Leah Cosmetic Skin Clinics which are open for business and she must be doing well: she was recently named on the top 100 influential British Entrepreneurs list, published by RichTopia.

3. Ricky Martin – series 8

Nope, not Puerto Rican singer Ricky, but Apprentice star Ricky. Or rather The Reflection Of Perfection as he called himself. Ahem. The former pro wrestler part owns his science and technology recruitment company, Hyper Recruitment, with Lord Sugar.

4. Tom Pellereau – series 7

Tom was the first person to win the show in its new format, which saw people getting a cash investment for a business, and not a job. Tom’s speciality is inventing, and he’s launched a few successful brands, among them the Stylfile nail file.

5. Stella English – series 6

The winner of the 2010 series, things kicked off after she left the show. In 2013 she lost her claim of constructive dismissal against Lord Sugar.

6. Yasmina Siadatan – series 5

Yasmina landed a job with Lord Sugar at Amscreen Health Care, and then moved on to work for a small Start-Up Company.

7. Lee McQueen – series 4

Lee went on to set up a digital business with Sugar’s son and then founded a recruitment company, Raw Talent Academy. He missed his first day on the job after picking up a virus in Spain.

8. Simon Ambrose – series 3

Simon worked for Lord Sugar for three years after winning the show. He’s gone on to have a successful business career with many ventures under his belt, including restaurant and art gallery investments, and, according to the BBC, he also owns and runs an event production company. An unforgettable fact from this series is of course the fact that Katie Hopkins was in it too.

9. Michelle Dewberry – series 2

According to reports, she left her 12-month job with Lord Sugar before the end of the contract. She made a name for herself in TV, and founded bargain deals site DailyChic.

10. Tim Campbell – series 1

Tim was the original Apprentice! He left Amstrad after two years and founded the Bright Ideas Trust, which sees him helping young entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds. He was awarded an MBE in 2012, and could also be seen on The Martin Lewis Money Show on ITV.
