James Bond fans tonight had a licence to kill time as they waited patiently to watch scenes for the upcoming movie Spectre being filmed in London.
Film buffs lined the River Thames in an effort to catch a glimpse of Daniel Craig in the latest instalment of the big-screen adventure series but it was a 007 stunt double that was seen on board the military-looking boat.
Some bridges over the Thames were temporarily closed to the public as crew in high-vis vests warned pedestrians from getting too close to the action which also included a helicopter.
Members of the film’s entourage told bystanders that 007 himself would be taking part in a scene filmed on a speedboat.
Spectre comes after the success of Skyfall, which grossed $1.1 billion (£700 million) worldwide. It is scheduled for release on November 6.
