Jessie Wallace will be reunited with her EastEnders co-star John Partridge in the theatre musical Chicago.
The actress, best known for playing the soap character Kat Slater, has signed up to play the role of Mama Morton for the UK tour of the West End show.
She will be joined by other soap stars such as Hayley Tamaddon, whose credits include Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
Jessie, 44, appeared opposite her on-screen husband from EastEnders, Alfie Moon played by Shane Richie, in the stage adaptation of the crime novel The Perfect Murder earlier this year.
John is best known for playing Christian Clarke in EastEnders.
The show will tour from mid-August to venues in Nottingham, Belfast, Liverpool, Glasgow, Aberdeen and more.
Chicago is set in the roaring 20s and follows the journey of nightclub singer Roxie Hart, lawyer Billy Flynn and jailbird Velma Kelly.
