BLACK Country comedy group The Fizzogs will be spicing up their famous 'dancing grannies' routine when they take part in a flashmob event in Birmingham.

Sue Hawkins, Deb Nicholls and Jacky Fellows will be joining modern Birmingham-based Bhangra dance troupe Eclectic Dancers for an impromptu performance on Saturday October 29.

The exact location is being kept secret until 24 hours before the event so they can surprise on unsuspecting members of the public.

The Fizzogs have gained international acclaim for their 'dancing grannies' routine which has attracted over 60 million views on social media sites around the globe.

They recently returned from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where they performed to sell-out audiences and they have also been nominated for the Black Country Outstanding Achievement Award for 2016.

Fizzog Sue Hawkins said: “It’s amazing how much attention the grannies have attracted since our first video went viral some two-and-a-half years ago. We have been asked to perform the routine up and down the country and now it’ll be fascinating to see how we blend in with the Bhangra group.”

The Fizzogs will be performing 'A Black Country Fairytale...Ay it!' at Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre on Thursday October 27.
