DUDLEY thespians are gearing up to bring to life Emily Bronte's classic tale of love and revenge - Wuthering Heights.

Adapted for the stage by Charles Vance, the play is being presented by Dudley Little Theatre and will run at Netherton Arts Centre, Northfield Road, Netherton, from Wednesday March 8 to Saturday March 11.

Frank Martino directs Jane Williams and Ray Curran in the lead roles of ill-fated lovers Catherine Earnshaw and the mysterious Heathcliff whose lives become inextricably linked from childhood after the Earnshaw family adopts the young gypsy-like Heathcliff who is treated like little more than a servant before he flees the Moors to make his fortune.

Tony Stamp, as Catherine's brother Hindley, and Flora Deeley, as Cathy's daughter, are among the ensemble cast members in this inter-generational love story set on the wild Yorkshire Moors.

The show starts at 7.30pm nightly, with doors opening at 7pm.

Tickets are priced £8 - standard, £7 - concessions, and there's a ten per cent discount available on group bookings.

They can be booked online at www.dudleylittletheatre.org or call Chris Ridgeway on 01384 872583 / 07582 318017 or Rebecca Clee on 07954 424555.
