STOURBRIDGE Operatic Society is urging talented male performers to audition for its forthcoming production of Flashdance - The Musical.
The show, being performed for the first time by an amateur company in the Midlands, will be staged at Stourbridge Town Hall in October.
But in order to make it happen the society is seeking men with a passion for performing to take on singing, dancing and acting roles in the show, based on the smash hit 1983 movie starring Jennifer Beals.
Auditions will be held on Sunday May 20 at 9.30am at St James Primary School, The Kingsway, Wollaston.
No lead roles have yet been cast for the show, which features a classic 80s soundtrack and tells the story of Pittsburgh steel worker and exotic dancer Alex Owens who dreams of being accepted into a prestigious ballet school.
For more details or to book an audition slot call 07786 558848 or email prod-sec@stourbridge-operatic.co.uk
