Duncan immortalised in art
 |
| Above: Duncan as urban artwork |
HERE is Dudley legend Duncan Edwards as you've never seen him before- as the subject of a unique piece of artwork.
To mark the 50th anniversary since his death last month in the Munich Air Disaster, the former Manchester United and England star's image has been painted in a disused shed in land off Hall Street in Dudley.
The 21-year-old was one of the victims of the crash on February 6, 1958. He died 15 days later. Dudley residents united last month to hold a series of events to mark the anniversary including a thanksgiving service in the town centre.
