Man rescued from blaze

A MAN was rescued following a fire at a block of flats in Netherton last night.

Crews from Brierley Hill and Dudley attended the blaze which occured in the kitchen of a first floor flat in a three storey block on Raybould's Fold just after 7pm.

The man suffered mild smoke inhalation and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

It is believed the fire was started by food left on the cooker.
