Skateboarding artist's work on show until Friday

SKATEBOARD art, paintings, photography, embroidery and installations by Norton based artist Cal are on display in Dudley until Friday (October 26).

Cal’s Solo Art Exhibition is running at The Gallery, 1 Castle Street, Dudley, and is open from 10am to 4.30pm tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday.

The 35-year-old contemporary and conceptual artist and keen skateboarder said: "It's a big solo exhibition and it's the first at this brand new gallery.”

Drug and alcohol recovery charity Cranstoun is behind the gallery - which Cal says he hopes will provide a place for service users and local artists to showcase their work to the public.
