Dudley Zoo animals get into the Hallowe'en spirit
DUDLEY Zoo’s small primates couldn’t resist joining in the Hallowe’en spirit.
Black and white lemurs Splitz and Yoda tucked into tasty fruit treats that keepers had hidden inside a carved-out pumpkin as part of the endangered species' enrichment activities.
Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, said: "We've had lots of pumpkins donated and have been sharing them across the site.
"Bornean orang utans, Brazilian tapirs and our baby Tibetan red panda have all enjoyed pumpkins aplenty, and we've also put some of the best-decorated on display in the Discovery Centre for half-term visitors to enjoy."
