A BOROUGH charity, which provides support and rehabilitation to people affected by brain injury, has appointed a new chief officer.
Stephen Phibbs took on the newly created role at Headway Black Country, based in Martin Hill Street in Dudley, at the beginning of the month.
Stephen, who was previously a director at Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire, said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to this important new role and to be leading an organisation with a track record of high-quality service provision and development for its clients and their carers.
“These are challenging times for the social care sector. Charities have never been under greater pressure to achieve more with less. However, I am confident that Headway Black Country is well placed to continue to develop and meet the needs of people with an acquired brain injury.”
