A 25-YEAR-OLD Pensnett man has been banned from entering any shop in Dudley town centre for the next two years after appearing in court for stealing corned beef.

Luke David Hinton, of Tennyson Street, was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 24 months and ordered to pay £9 compensation, £80 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed the 24- month anti-social behaviour order banning him from the town, for stealing four cans of corned beef from Bargain Foods, when he appeared in Dudley Magistrates Court on December 6.

The defendant was also jailed for 12 weeks consecutive to the above, suspended for 24 months and ordered to pay £10 compensation, for stealing ten boxes of chocolates from Bargain Foods.

Also appearing in court on December 6:

Nathan Carlton Fearon, aged 24, of Gorsty Avenue, Dudley, was handed a two-year community order for assault.

The defendant was also handed a two-year community order for assault.

He was also handed a two-year community order and ordered to pay £50 compensation for assault.

The defendant was also handed a two-year community order, ordered to pay £270 compensation, £60 costs and £85 court costs, for destroying a UPVC front door.

Sophia Bhatti, aged 40, of St Johns Street, Netherton, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £250 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

In court on December 3:

Rebecca Cornbill, aged 29, of Corbyn Road, Russells Hall, was handed a six-month conditional discharge and disqualified from driving for 28 days, for failing to stop after an accident.

The defendant was also handed a six-month conditional discharge for failing to report an accident.

Jonathan Lee Daniels, aged 22, of Golden Hillock Road, Dudley, was fined £260 and ordered to pay £26 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being handed seven licence penalty points, for driving without due care and attention.

Mark Anthony Mellor, aged 34, of High Oak, Pensnett, was handed a 12-month community order and ordered to pay £60 costs and £85 court costs, for driving while disqualified.

The defendant was also fined £55 for possessing cannabis.

David Stanford, aged 38, of Cinder Bank, Dudley, was fined £225 and ordered to pay £150 compensation, £22 costs and £85 court costs, for assault.

Adeel Khalid, aged 24, of Blackacre Road, Dudley, was handed a 12-month community order and handed six licence penalty points, for driving while disqualified.

The defendant was also ordered to pay £60 costs and £85 court costs, for driving without insurance.

Zaishan Aslam, aged 34, of Beech Green, Dudley, was fined £600 and ordered to pay £60 costs and £65 court costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

Dominique Whittaker, aged 19, of Cradley Road, Netherton, was handed a 12-month community order and ordered to pay £60 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for 12 months, for taking a car without the owner’s consent, which was also involved in an accident.

 

In court on December 4:

John Bennett, aged 76, of Quarry Road, Dudley, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, as well as being disqualified from driving for six months, for driving without due care and attention.

Wahida Akhtar, aged 27, of Newland Grove, Dudley, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £20 costs and £80 costs, as well as being handed six licence penalty points, for driving without insurance.

George James Connell Gill, aged 21, of New Street, Dudley, was handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 costs and £25 court costs, for stealing eight packs of bacon from Co-op.

In court on December 7:

Sophie Louise O’ Rourke, aged 19, of Himley Road, Dudley, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 costs and £85 court costs, for stealing £95.95 worth of Kit Kats from Poundland.

Stuart Christopher Dublin, aged 30, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was handed a restraining order, as well as being fined £75 and ordered to pay £15 costs and £100 court costs, for using threatening, abusive words or behaviour.
