Motorist to appear in court following pedestrian road-rage attack

A 25 YEAR-old motorist is set to appear in court this morning accused of punching and knocking out a pedestrian who urged him to slow down.

It is alleged that the driver assaulted a 40 year-old man in Newland Grove, Woodside at around 3pm on Sunday.

He is charged with one count of wounding and is scheduled to appear in front of Dudley Magistrates this morning.

The pedestrian received a serious head injury and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
