THE Mayor of Dudley’s charities are set for a further boost with a special t-shirt raffle to help raise funds.

The t-shirts have been made to promote mayoral attendant Mike Crannage’s 150 mile coast-to-coast jungle adventure next month.

People are being asked to pay £2 for a t-shirt, which each contains a unique number, as well as details of Mike’s gruelling 10 day challenge. Everyone who purchases a t-shirt, which have been printed and donated by the Pensnett-based Quality Print, will be entered into a raffle to win a host of top prizes including a month’s free membership for two to the gym at the Village Hotel, a coffee machine, a meal for two, a family ticket to the Black Country Living Museum and Costa Rican rum.

Councillor Melvyn Mottram, Mayor of Dudley, said: “The T-shirts are another way to raise money for these very worthwhile causes and to promote the challenge that Mike is about to take part in.”

Super fit Mike, aged 53, will begin his adventure on February 2, during which he will trek, run, climb, abseil and swim the equivalent of almost six marathons through the South American jungle.
