Sedgley's Lauren Hutton needs the backing of the borough in her beauty queen quest
A SEDGLEY schoolgirl is on course to become a teen catwalk queen after making it through to the semi-finals of a nationwide model search.
Pretty Lauren Hutton, aged 14, was spotted by Teen Queen UK scouts while at the Birmingham Clothes Show at the NEC in December, who took her photo.
Thinking nothing of it, Lauren, a pupil at Dormston School, was later invited to London to take part in a professional photoshoot for the popular beauty pageant.
And the teenager is now featuring on the Teen Queen UK website, where she needs votes to secure a place through to August’s final – as only the top two from each category make it through.
Voting closes on January 31, so there are only a few days left to help her achieve a finalist dream.
