Church circuit raises cash for brain injury survivors

MEMBERS of the Dudley and Netherton Methodist Church circuit have raised £620 for a borough brain injury charity.

Rev Dr Mark Wakelin, the President of the Methodist Conference, presented the cash to Paul Jaunzems, from Headway, which supports survivors of head injuries.

Rev Wakelin was leading a circuit service at Central Methodist Church on February 3, as part of his visit to the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District.

The service was also attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Dudley.
