DUDLEY Zoo’s seven little piglets are tucking into traditional Shrove Tuesday fare today as keepers have whipped up pancakes as a special treat.

Three-month-old Little Ernie, Hamm, Chuck, Brian, Wilba, Dolly and Jemima shared the treats with mum, Poppy and Dad, Harley.

Senior keeper Lesley Lewis, said: “It’s the first time the micro piglets have tasted pancakes and they adored them, they really couldn’t eat them fast enough.

“They usually have a balanced diet of fruit, vegetables and cereals, so this really is a treat.”
