Stourbridge cyclist in serious condition in hospital following Iverley crash

A 74 YEAR-old Stourbridge man is in a serious condition in hospital this morning following a collision near Iverley.
The man, a cyclist, was riding along the A461 Norton Road, between Stourbridge and Kidderminster yesterday morning (Saturday, February 16) when he was involved in a collision with a silver Peugeot 406, at around 10.20am.
The pensioner was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where he is being treated for serious back, neck and head injuries.
The driver of the car, also a 74 year-old man from Stourbridge, was unharmed.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision, or saw the cyclist riding along the road prior to the crash.
