A DUDLEY College student has lopped off her locks to raise funds for Action Heart.
Hair and Beauty student, Donna Fellows, decided to shave off her red-tinted cropped style to give something back to the borough charity which has supported her dad.
The 29-year-old, from Kingswinford, has raised more than £200 for Action Heart’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Service based at Russells Hall Hospital, smashing her original £100 target.
Donna said: “I'm doing this as Action Heart have helped my dad recover tremendously since being diagnosed with Angina. He has had two relapses and everytime Action Heart have been there to help, support and aid his recovery.”
Joy Brown, Action Heart fundraising executive, who witnessed the head shave in the college’s new hair salon, said: “Donna should feel very proud of herself.”
