STUDENTS at a Dudley secondary school have collected a mountain of food for those in need.

Castle High School pupils collected over 650 cans and jars to form a metre tall ‘Tin Can Mountain’ for the Good Shepherd Ministry in Wolverhampton, which will be used by the charity to make up food care packages for the community.

The St James’s Road school ran the appeal as a form competition, challenging each form to collect the most.
