Merry Hill to host latest fashion extravaganza

MERRY Hill will be transformed into a fashion and beauty hub this weekend to mark the launch of new spring and summer collections.

On Friday March 8 and Saturday March 9, the Westfield shopping centre will be hosting a weekend of fun, fashion and giveaways.

A fashion zone will be set up in Fountain Square with retailers showcasing the latest looks from their collections and stylists offering fashion advice to help keep customers on trend.

Beauty pods will also offer shoppers chance to be pampered with hair, nail and skin treatments.

Mall visitors can also expect to see flash mobs donning the season’s hottest trends and, after each procession, dancers will be handing out golden envelopes at random offering shoppers chance to win instant prizes and gift cards from participating fashion stores.

Kelly Reed, Merry Hill marketing manager, said: “Our fashion events have always been a big hit with shoppers, who are ready to embrace a new season and invest in a new wardrobe.

“With all the fabulous discounts, freebies and advice on offer over the weekend, they’ll be able to make their budget go much further.

“And with retailers demonstrating how to wear everything from monochrome to stripes, peekaboo to brights, we’re hoping to put a spring in everyone’s step this season.”

A free voucher booklet offering discounts at more than 30 fashion stores will be available from Concierge during the two days.
