Concern growing for missing schoolboy from Dudley
12:57pm Friday 13th September 2013 in News
POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for 11-year-old school boy Dashiel Allen, who has been missing from home since yesterday (Thursday September 12).
His worried parents alerted the police just before 8pm after he failed to return home on Pickrell Road in the Hurst Hill area of Dudley after leaving Coseley High School on Henne Drive at around 3.30pm.
He was last seen heading towards Jubilee Park and has not been seen since.
The schoolboy is described as black, around four-feet-eight, of slim build with short plaited dark hair and was wearing a Coseley High School uniform including blazer.
Inspector Tim Draper from Dudley police, said: "We know that Dashiel attended school yesterday and that he has links to the Kings Norton area.
"We have been searching the area including a local park near to the school and local train stations.
"We are really eager to trace Dashiel and would appeal to anyone who may have seen him or know of his whereabouts to call us straight away.
"Dashiel's loved ones are obviously very worried and I would like to stress that Dashiel is not in any trouble and would appeal to him to call us or come into a local police station where we can ensure he is safe and well."
Anyone with information that could help trace Dashiel are urged to call Dudley police by dialling 101.
