THREE dogs were rescued from a blaze in Brierley Hill yesterday morning (Tuesday September 17).
Firefighters were called to a house in Bankwell Street at 9.04am when a fire broke out in the kitchen.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said the alarm was raised by a smoke detector that had previously been fitted by crews and added: “The fire was confined to the room of origin. Three dogs were rescued by fire crews and we are currently investigating the cause of the fire. ”
